A training workshop on Right to Information was held on Sunday at Biman Bangladesh Airlines` head office in Balaka.
The chief guest of the event was Dr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of Biman.
In this workshop, the Right to Information Act, the background of the enactment of this law, important contents of the law, related rules and regulations and the implementation strategy for these were discussed in detail for Biman officers and employees.
Along with the newly appointed officers, other senior officials of Biman were also present in this workshop. The training was provided by Biman`s Chief Information Officer, and General Manager of Public Relations, A.B.M. Raoshan Kabir and Deputy General Manager Legal Affairs, Md. Al Masud Khan.
