Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University organized a joyous rally on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the Department of Sociology. On Wednesday (January 25) morning, the rally started from the front of the university`s Faculty of Social Sciences building and circled the various roads of the campus.
University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Soumitra Shekhar participated in the rally along with the teachers and students of the department . Before this, the anniversary program was started by cutting the cake. After that, the Vice-Chancellor addressed a short gathering.
Mentioning Sociology as a promising and promising subject, the Vice-Chancellor said by completing a bachelor`s degree in this subject, higher degrees can be taken in many relevant subjects. This subject is respected all over the world. So the students have to study this subject with more depth and attention.
