An advocacy meeting was held yesterday at Lalmonirhat Municipal Auditorium to implement health education sessions in adolescent friendly health care and educational institutions. The meeting was held on the initiative of BRAC's Right Here Now project.
District Family Planning Office Deputy Director Harunor Rashid was the chief guest in the meeting held under the chairmanship of BRAC District Coordinator Ashraful Alam. Research Officer of Education Department Abu Horaira was also present in this meeting chaired by Madhuri Sutradhar, Area Coordinator of the project.
Teachers, health workers and youth members of various educational institutions participated in this advocacy meeting. This health care program will be started in 4 high schools of the district under the project Right Here Now.
