A protest march and rally was held in Jhenaidah to demand the resignation of newly elected vice-president of Bangladesh Football Federation, former member of parliament of Jhenaidah-2 seat and vice-president of district Awami League Naser Shahriar Zahedi Mahul.
The anti-discrimination student movement organized a protest march and rally at the central Shaheed Minar square of the city yesterday. Anti-discrimination student movement leader Mubinul Islam Hriday, Rehan Hossain and Mir Rakib and others spoke at that time.
The speakers said that BCL leaders and activists attacked ordinary students on the orders of the former member of Parliament to suppress the anti-discrimination student movement. They do not understand how a member of parliament of a dictatorial government can become a leader of Bafuf. So they demanded immediate resignation.
