Information and discussion meetings were held with the district committee and stakeholders for the smooth and successful implementation of the Universal Pension Scheme in Barisal. This meeting was held yesterday at 11 am in the Barisal Shilpakala Academy hall room under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Shahidul Islam. Divisional Commissioner Shaukat Ali was the chief guest at the briefing and discussion meeting on the implementation of the Universal Pension Scheme.
The meeting was attended by members of various professions of the society. Superintendent of Police Wahidul Islam, Director of Islami Foundation Md. Nurul Islam, Imams of mosques, government and private educational institutions, officials of public and private organizations, and leaders of various levels were present.
