The entire country including the capital is burning in an intense heat wave. Animals are panting in the dry heat of Baishakh. The mercury in the barometer is rising every day. The temperature has been rising for a consecutive week. In such a situation, daily laborers, and rickshaw pullers who are busy making a living are at risk of life in the intense heat.
Khandkar Sajjad Hossain, candidate for 47 ward councilor in Dhaka North City Corporation, distributed food saline and a bottle of cold water in Dakshinkhane to ease their suffering and put a smile on their faces. The laborers and rickshaw pullers were satisfied with getting cold water and saline food. They said that no one cares about us. We were so happy to receive the gift that thought of us in this hot summer. Khandkar Sajjad Hossain said I am trying to make pedestrians and rickshaw driver’s health conscious during the intense heat wave. I have distributed water and saline for this.
