A young man named Ariful Islam Raja (22) was killed in an uncontrolled motorcycle accident in Dohar Upazila of Dhaka. The accident took place at Jhanki area of the upazila yesterday. The deceased was the son of Yunus Madbar of Jhanki village of Raja upazila.
According to local sources, around 11:30 am, Raja was going to his home Jhanki on a motorcycle from Islamabad. While passing a battery powered easy bike coming from the opposite direction, his motorcycle lost control and collided with a betel nut tree on the side of the road. When the locals took him seriously injured to Doha Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared Raja dead.
Sub-Inspector Idris Ali, duty officer of Dohar police station, said that no one informed the police station about this.
