Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET)Teachers' Association observed a half-day strike on the demand of voiding notification. They said, If the existing pension and trust schemes have disadvantages and discrimination, the education program will stagnate in society, and teachers will be neglected and discriminated against. Therefore, if the notification is not withdrawn, the teachers' association will be forced to give a stricter schedule later. Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam, Mazharul Islam, were present on this occasion.
