Four cows of a farmer were stolen on the first night of raising cows in the new cow shed in Chowagacha, Jashore. Mourning is going on in poor families. The incident took place on Wednesday night at the house of Bipul Hossain, son of Mohiuddin in Hudopara of Chougacha municipality. Bipul Hossain said that he has been rearing cows in a cattle house for a long time. Recently he has built a stable cow shed with great difficulty.
On Wednesday evening, he first raised a cow and a calf, a high-breed heifer and a ram cow in the new cowshed. He said he fed the cows at night and went to sleep. He woke up in the morning to find that there was no cow in the cowshed. Despite many searches, no trace of the cows was found. Bipul Hossain said, I have now become a poor. He said the approximate value of the cows is at least Tkfive lakh . Chowgacha police officer in-charge Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury confirmed the truth of the incident and said that efforts are being made to arrest the thieves.
