Good Neighbors Bangladesh of Meherpur CDP organized a Science Fair-2024 at Mujibnagar, Meherpur with various inventions of school students. Yesterday, this science fair was held in Gopalnagar secondary girls school premises of the upazila. Mujibnagar Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mamun Uddin Al Azad was present as the chief guest and inaugurated this science fair. After visiting each stall, the guests including the chief guest selected 3 schools presenting the best innovative projects for the welfare of the country and people.
Later, a discussion meeting and prize distribution was held at the Science Festival venue. Mujibnagar Upazila Secondary Officer Mamun Uddin Al Azad was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting under the chairmanship of Subrata Tudu, Manager of Good Neighbors Meherpur CDP and moderated by Senior Officer (Program) Rifat Al Mahmud. Upazila Academic Supervisor Hasnain Karim, Mujibnagar Government Secondary School Principal Izarul Islam were present as special guests. Headmaster of Gopalnagar Secondary Girls' School Zahurul Islam along with principal and assistant teachers of the participating schools of the upazila. 20 secondary schools participated in the science fair with various science-based projects for the welfare of humanity. At the end of the fair, the chief guest along with the invited guests distributed certificates and prizes to the winners in each participating school.
