Livestock Services Week and Exhibition started in Magura. Upazila Administration and Upazila Livestock Resources Department Magura organized this event at Magura Government Boys High School grounds on Thursday afternoon. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abu Nasser Baig inaugurated the Livestock Resource Service Week by attending as the chief guest. Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mizanur Rahman presided over the event as a special guest, Zilla Parishad Chairman Pankaj Kumar Kundu, District Awami League President AFM Abdul Fattah, Upazila Chairman Abu Nasir Bablu and Municipal Mayor Khurshid Haider Tutul and others.
District Animal Resource Officer Dr. Mihir Kanti Biswas delivered the welcome address. 30 stalls participated in this event. Cows, goats, country chickens, pigeons, birds, and different species of animals of different farmers of the upazila are displayed in these stalls. Hundreds of farmers of the upazila were present in the animal resource service week. In the event, the farmers of the district were encouraged, and advice was given on rearing farm animals, diseases, and prevention.
