The National Nutrition Week 2024 was inaugurated at Kaptai in Rangamati.
The Public Health Nutrition Institute and Kaptai Upazila Health Complex initiated the programme yesterday.
This program was held at 11 am in the conference room of Upazila Health Complex.
Kaptai Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Upazila Nutrition Committee President Mohiuddin inaugurated the nutrition week.
Kaptai Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Ruihla Ang Marma, Upazila Family Planning Officer Shashank Bikash Chakma, Kaptai Press Club President Kazi Mosharraf Hossain spoke as special guests under the direction of Kaptai Upazila Health Complex Resident Medical Officer Dr Omar Faruk Roni.
Doctors, nurses and government officials of various departments of Kaptai Upazila Health Complex were present at the time.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Nutrition Week 2024, various activities will be conducted in Kaptai Upazila for a week including providing awareness health messages in health institutions, distributing nutritious food to orphanages, mothers gathering.
