Eid shopping crowd in Kishoreganj

Collection of local and foreign clothes of various brands was seen in cloth shops in Rathkhala and Teripatti area of Kishoreganj district town. People from all over the district come and buy their favorite products from these markets. Though these markets are open around the year, coming of buyers increases around Eid. But this time, the Eid market has gathered even though it is a little late.

The sellers said that the price of some clothes has increased compared to last year. Depending on the quality of the fabric, there are Punjabis priced from Tk 500 to Tk 5000. Punjabi prices have increased slightly compared to last year.

After visiting the Rathkhala and Teripatti areas of the city, it was seen that shops are crowded with shoppers for Eid shopping. Some are buying branded clothes, some are non-branded. But no one forgets to visit the brand outlets.

Visiting the various malls, it was found that the brand outlets are quite crowded. The long queues in front of the trial rooms and payment counters showed that the customers were not only looking at the clothes but also buying them.

Mohammad Golam Mostafa, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kishoreganj Model Police Station said that adequate security measures have been taken so that the public can shop smoothly on the occasion of Eid.
