No pass in Ghagoa Girls High School

Ghagoa Girls High School in Sundarganj Upazila of Gaibandha is in the list of 100% failure in SSC and equivalent examination results. 14 students from this school participated in SSC this time. But not one could pass. Last year also 16 students participated and 13 passed from this school. Parents are disappointed that no one has passed in this year's results. For this reason, they are blaming the teachers for not having classes in the school. Parents and locals say that even though the school is open every day, students are not interested in coming to school. Moreover, the teachers and staff go home after passing the time by gossiping. They complain that classes are not taken properly every day. Ghagoa Girls High School was established in Tarapur Union of Sundarganj Upazila in 1994.

After 10 years of establishment, the school was included in MPO in 2004. Currently, the school has 16 teachers and staff including the head teacher. Among them 13 teachers and 3 employees. In this regard, Abdul Hakim, the head teacher of the school, said that 14 students participated in the examination. Every student should pass. But why such a result happened, it is not understandable. The board is in the process of challenging the results by talking to the candidates. District Education Officer Roksana Begum said that the percentage of results in a school of Sundarganj Upazila in Gaibandha district is zero. This is very sad. The headmaster has been directed to show reasons to the concerned teachers in the subject in which the students of that school have failed.
