Awami League (AL) candidate Rejwan Ahammad Taufiq won Kishoreganj-4 (Itna-Mithamain-Austagram) constituency in the 12th parliamentary election. He was elected MP for the fourth time in the constituency.
Engineer Rejwan Ahammad Taufiq has been elected MP for the fourth time in Kishoreganj-4 constituency securing 2,87,038 votes and his nearest rival Md Abu Wahab of Jatiya Party who got 2,735 votes.
After Abdul Hamid became the President, his eldest son Rejwan Ahammad Taufiq went to the Jatiya Sangsad three times winning here. He has been elected MP for the fourth time.
