Titus authorities have disconnected the illegal connection in the municipal area of Narayanganj Sonargaon upazila. On Sunday (February 5), the mobile court illegally disconnected the gas connection of Darpat village of Ward No. 1 of Sonargaon municipality.
For a long time, the people of Darpat village from Arjandi area of the municipality have been doing business with illegal connections with the help of a former ward councilor, the residents and Titasgas said. The names and addresses of those involved in illegal connections are being collected and they will be brought under the law and further action will be taken as per the law, he said.
