A mobile court fined a businessman for selling expired products in Madhupur of Tangail.
A mobile court was conducted on Monday afternoon on the basis of information that expired products were being sold at a shop in Tengri Kathaltali intersection area of Ward No 8 of Madhupur municipality.
At that time, a shop owner named Raju, son of Akkas Ali of Tengri Kathaltali intersection, was fined Tk 3,000 for selling expired cleamon and spa mineral water.
Madhupur Upazila Assistant Commissioner (AC) (Land) and Executive Magistrate Rifat Anjum Piya conducted the mobile court. At that time, a police team of Madhupur Police Station was in overall cooperation to maintain law and order.
