Police arrested a 47-year-old woman named Sathi Akter with 10 grams of heroin around 10:45 pm on Thursday in Rajbari's Goalande. She is the wife of Md Shakil Sheikh of Daulatdia Porabita area.
Swapan Kumar Majumder, officer-in-charge (OC) of Goalanda Ghat Police Station, said in a press release yesterday afternoon. Acting on a tip-off, a team of police raided North Daulatdia Porabita area around 10:45pm on Thursday and arrested her.
