Ms. Shamima Akhtar Khanom SPHRi, CHRO of Nitol Niloy Division under Nitol Niloy Group has been recognized as one of the ‘Most Iconic Global HR Leaders’ at the World HRD Congress which was held at Taj Lands End Mumbai on 15th – 17th February 2024.
She received her prestigious award on February 2024 and enlightened the audience on the topic of “Thriving in Transformation: Employer Branding Tactics for the Changing World of Work” as an International Speaker.
The World HRD Congress aims to promote giving among at least 100 nations, philanthropists, and corporate leaders. This year, the event introduced a Talent Listing feature called "MOST ICONIC GLOBAL HR LEADER". The award was chosen due to Ms. Shamima's reputation as a respected Learning and Development Leader, her contribution to the HR, Training, and Learning Development field, and her nurturing of talent. The "MOST ICONIC GLOBAL HR LEADER" award results from a rigorous research process by postgraduates in history and management with over five years of experience.
Before achieving this notable milestone, her extensive knowledge and unwavering dedication to the advancement and enhancement of her organization and country had been internationally acknowledged through various accolades. She was globally recognized as one of “Asia’s Women Leaders” by the World Women Leadership Congress & Awards at the Pan Pacific, Singapore on 17th August 2023.
Furthermore, she was recognized as the distinguished recipient of the "Top Most HR Leaders (Global)" award by the World HRD Congress in March 2022. She was bestowed with the “Fabulous HR Leaders of the World” award by the World HRD Congress in February 2020, and honored as the recipient of the “Asia’s Most Innovative HR Leaders” award by the Asia Pacific HRM Congress in September 2018.
