The court has ordered the jailing of housekeeper Mocha Tahmina and her husband Shakeel in the case of theft of National Film Award and other ornaments from popular singer Nazmun Munira Nancy's house.
On Thursday (April 27), Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rashidul Alam's court ordered to send them to jail.
On this day, the sub-inspector of Gulshan police station, Sadek Mia, the investigating officer of the case, presented them to the court and requested to take them on five-day remand for the sake of proper investigation of the case. But as the investigating officer of the case did not come to the court, the court fixed the date of remand hearing in the presence of the investigating officer on May 2 by ordering them to be sent to jail.
