A tree planting and distribution program jointly organized by the Bangladesh Reporters Council (BRC) and the Lions Club of Dhaka Narayanganj City today at the front of National Press Club.
The president of the BRC, senior journalist THM Jahangir said, nature plays a major role in protecting our lives, so there is no alternative to trees. The greener Bangladesh becomes, the safer people and all animals will be.
Lion Engineer Abdul Wahab PMJF called on the people of the country to plant trees for their own needs and said that the Lions Club has taken a program to plant one lakh tree saplings across the country this year.
BRC journalists Md. Abdul Awal Situ, Billal Hossain, Siddiqur Rahman, Ahmed Ali, Akash Mizi, Fazlul Haque Sumon, and Kaiser Rahman participated in the tree planting program.
Lions Club of Dhaka Narayanganj City was represented by Lion Md. Ashraful Alam, Lion Muhammad Nazrul Islam, Lion Mohammad Millat Hossain, Lion Engineer Nizam Uddin, Leo Club of Narayanganj City President Leo Biny Yamin Siam, and Secretary Leo Arafat.
