U.S. citizens urged to leave Russia

Recently, Russia announced that it would partially organize its troops for war with Ukraine. Soon after, the United States reiterated its call for U.S. citizens to leave Russia immediately. This information was given in a report by the news media Al-Jazeera.

According to the report, the US Embassy issued a security alert late on Tuesday (September 27) night.

The U.S. Embassy in Moscow said Americans should make their own arrangements to leave the country as soon as possible. Russia still has a chance to leave.

Russia could reject Americans who have dual citizenship, the warning said. They can prevent U.S. citizens from taking the help of u.S. consular aid, and also from leaving Russia.

The U.S. Embassy has consistently warned Americans not to travel to Russia and to leave immediately if they are there.

The U.S. Embassy in Russia has also asked U.S. citizens not to participate in "all political or social protests." The warning also said Russian authorities had arrested U.S. citizens who took part in the protests.

According to the warning, the embassy has limitations on helping US citizens. The situation may suddenly become more limited.

If a U.S. citizen wants to leave Russia, he should leave Russia as soon as possible.
