UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Khaseif AlHmoudi met Chairman of Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority (CAAB) Air Vice Marshal Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan, BUP, ndc, nswc, afwc, psc had a courtesy call at CAAB’s headquarters.
At this time, various important issues related to aviation including ground handling services, anti-drone systems and passenger information systems were discussed. Besides, emphasis was placed on the need to increase cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE in various fields with a view to further strengthening bilateral relations. At the end of the discussion, the representatives of the two countries pledged to work together in the future. Member (Management & Planning) and Member (Security) of CAAB were also present during the Courtesy Meeting.
Later, Canada's Charge d'Affaires assigned to Bangladesh, Miss Debra Boyce, had a courtesy meeting with CAAB’s chairman at CAAB headquarter, while she emphasized on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. Besides, she expressed the promise of Canadian government's all-out cooperation in Bangladesh's aviation sector and the development of smart airports. The representatives of the two countries have expressed hope to work together in the coming days.
