Current Chairman Kaiserul Haque Jewel withdrew from Cox's Bazar Sadar Upazila Election. He announced this at a press conference held at Cox's Bazar Press Club at 11 am yesterday. Jewel did not take any questions from reporters at the press conference. Throughout the press conference, he lashed out at another chairman candidate and general secretary of Cox's Bazar district Awami League, Mujibur Rahman.Calling cousin Mujib a characterless, Jewel said, "I don't want Mujibur Rahman to be selected."
Meanwhile, calling the administration helpless, Jewel said, "The administration will not be able to give fare votes in the election." Jewel said, as you know, in the ongoing election, Mujibur Rahman, who is extremely corrupt, greedy for women, characterless, robber and nomination merchant (former mayor) is running with the pineapple symbol. Through you, I humbly request the people of Cox's Bazar Sadar Upazila to reject this corrupt scoundrel.
He also said that if he is elected upazila chairman, the upazila parishad will become a sanctuary for brokers, yaba traders and land robbers and the upazila residents will be hostages in their hands. I don't want Mujibur Rahman to be elected Sadar Upazila Chairman. Jewel said about supporting someone, you may have a question, am I supporting someone? I am not endorsing anyone for now. The environment will tell me what to do.
