Youth killed in chuadanga road accident

A youth named Raihan (30) was killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in Chuadanga. His cousin Hridoy, 25, was injured.

The accident took place on Thursday (September 29th) at Chhaygharia village of the Upazila. The injured hridoy has been admitted to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital.

The deceased were identified as Raihan, son of Faruk Hossain of Stationpara of Joyrampur village in Damurhuda Upazila, and Hridoy Hossain, son of Hossain Ali of Baradi village on the border of the district. They are each other‍‍`s cousins.

According to the relatives of the deceased, the two were going to Joyrampur on a motorcycle from Baradi village. At that time, another motorcycle collided head-on with another motorcycle in Chhaygharia village. Raihan and Hridoy were seriously injured. Later, locals rescued them and took them to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared Raihan dead. The injured heart was admitted after primary treatment.

The doctor on duty at the emergency department of Sadar Hospital said Raihan was declared dead after the examination. Initially, it is believed that he died due to a head injury. The wounded heart is free from fear. He was admitted after primary treatment.

Darshana Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AHM Lutful Kabir said, "We have come to know about the death of a young man in a head-on collision between two motorcycles. Another person was injured. Further legal action will be taken as per the instructions of senior officials.
