Awami League Presidium Member Shajahan Khan today said BNP-Jamaat alliance wants to create unrest in the country.
"BNP-Jamaat alliance doesn`t want peace as they want to create unrest. BNP has only two policies- hypocrisy and corruption," he told a freedom fighters reception ceremony at Muktijoddha Complex here.
Barguna Deputy Commissioner Habibur Rahman chaired the function while Zila Parishad Chairman Jahangir Kabir, former lawmaker Sardar Abdur Rashid, Barguna district former Muktijoddha Commander Abdur Rashid and former deputy commander Abdul Motaleb Mridha addressed it, among others.
About BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir`s comment that Pakistan period was better, Shajahan Khan said Fakhrul`s father was Muslim League leader and acted as Razakar during the Liberation War.
That`s why Fakhrul made such comment, he said, adding that Fakhrul should be sent to Pakistan.
