Bangladesh Youth Hockey Team started the AHF Cup Under-21 Championship with a goal against Hong Kong. In the second match on Saturday, the red-green jersey holders got a bigger victory. Bangladesh won 14-0 against Sri Lanka in the match held in Muscat, Oman. Amirul Islam scored 6 goals alone.
Md. Hussain scored three goals. Hassan Mohammad Joy and Md. Hossain scored two goals each. The other goal is from Ali Bangladesh led 2-0 in the first quarter and 8-0 in the first half. Bangladesh added 5 more goals in the third quarter. However, Bangladesh scored a goal in the fourth and last quarter to make the winning margin 14-0. Bangladesh will play the third and last match of the group against Uzbekistan on Monday. Bangladesh is at the top of `B` group with 6 points from two consecutive wins.
