Bangladesh national cricket team's captain Shakib Al Hasan has said he will be the best president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) if he gets the chance.
Bangla Tigers, a T10 league franchise in Abu Dabi, published an interview with the best all-rounder in this regard.
There he said, "I won't want to miss the chance of being the president of BCB. I believe I will obviously be the best president when I go there (board). It is a matter of far distance whether I can or not but I can think like that. How can I be the best if I don't have that kind of thinking?"
"However, Papon bhai (BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon) has done a lot of things in his period. There is no scope to underestimate his achievements," Shakib added.
Shakib was elected a member of parliament from Magura-1 constituency by a huge number of votes in the 12th national parliamentary election on January 7.
