The Tata Motors, one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers, along with its authorized distributor Nitol Motors Ltd, launched its made-in-Bangladesh fully-built solutions for the Tata LPT 407 pick-up in the country yesterday.

The vehicle is available in five robustly-built load body options that include covered van, LPG carrier, poultry carrier, standard and high deck, catering to a wide range of applications like logistics, transportation and distribution, among others.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Anurag Mehrotra, Head, International Business, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said, "We are excited to launch Tata LPT 407 with made-in-Bangladesh fully-built solutions. Mr. Abdul Marib Ahmad, Vice Chairman, Nitol Niloy Group, said “From today Nitol Motors will start selling trucks with body. Slowly all vehicles will be sold as complete vehicles. This will create value addition in our JV factory.”

The fully-built solutions provide the customers with quality load body solutions specially made for wide-variety of applications. These include covered van with a large cargo loading area of 13m3, LPG carrier for efficient gas cylinder delivery, poultry carrier for safe and secure transportation of poultry, standard for general hauling and the high deck for enhanced carrying capacity. The load body options come with one-year warranty, providing assurance and complete peace of mind to the customers.

With rugged aggregates, Tata LPT 407 is powered by a 2956cc engine, mated to GBS-27 synchromesh gearbox, which produces 75Ps of power and 225Nm of torque. The vehicle comes with a 12 feet deck length. With attractive financing options and flexible repayment terms, Tata LPT 407 is now available at authorised Nitol Motors dealerships across Bangladesh.
