The prize distribution ceremony of the three-day long `1st Western Engineering BOFGC Cup Golf Tournament- January 2023` was held at BOF Golf Club, Gazipur Cantonment.
BOF Golf Club President and Commandant BOF Major General Md Maksudul Haque, NDC, AFWC, PSC, MPhil attended as the chief guest and inaugurated the tournament and distributed prizes among the winners.
The chief guest on the occasion expressed hope that organizing such a competition would play an important role in the development of the country`s golf arena and thanked the managing director of Western Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. and the tournament committee for this great initiative.
A total of 138 golfers including local/foreign players participated in the competition. Squadron Leader Habib Champion Begum Nila Aziz Lady Winner Master Sabrun Jamil Junior Winner Master Ofif Iftekhar Ifrit Sub Junior Winner in the tournament.
Western Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. Managing Director Bashir Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director Md. Sarwar Zaman Dhali and Vice President of BOF Golf Club along with other senior officials and many golfers were present. It is to be noted that the golf tournament which started on 25th January 2023 was inaugurated by Major General Md Maksudul Haque, NDC, AFWC, PSC, MPhil President BOF Golf Club and Commandant BOF.
