1.5K underprivileged women get Eid gift

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner of Bangladesh Police and Founder Chairman of Uttaran Foundation Habibur Rahman BPM (Bar), PPM (Bar) distributed Eid gifts among 1,500 underprivileged women of Daulatdia Purbapara and adjoining areas.

Rajbari Superintendent of Police GM Abul Kalam Azad PPM (Bar) was present as the chief guest.  The Eid gifts were distributed in the courtyard of the house of Jhumur Begum, president of Asahaya Nari Oikya Sangathan, in Sohrab Mandal Para area of ward no 5 of Daulatdia union on Saturday afternoon.

Each Eid gift packet contained one saree, 1 kg vermicelli, 1 kg sugar, 2 kg flour, 1 kg sugar, atap rice, 1 kg lentil.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Mukit Sarkar, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Iftekharuzzaman, Goalanda Ghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Uttam Kumar Ghosh, among others, were present on the occasion.
