Under the direction of Narsingdi Police Superintendent Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman PPM, district police has arrested a total of 29 people for various crimes including the recovery of 02 kg of weed and 125 pieces of yaba in the last 24 hours.
Among these, 01 person named Ismail Hossain (45) was arrested by Monohardi police station on 20th April from the Gotashia area with two kg of weed. Also, on 20th April one person named Shakil Khan (20) was arrested from the Chakradha area under Shibpur Model Police Station with a 150-piece yaba.
In another raid, 04 people were arrested based on a warrant by the Madhavadi police station. A total of 23 people were arrested for various offenses by other units. A total of 32 arrest warrants have been disposed of by the Narsingdi District Police during the said period.
