78 recruited in police on merit

78 people have been appointed as Bangladesh Police Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) in Noakhali. The district police greeted the newly elected candidates with flowers and sweets. 

The list of appointees was published on Thursday night at 9 pm after passing their own qualifications and merit. Noakhali District Recruitment Board President Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohammad Asaduzzaman published the final results. Other members of the recruitment board were also present at the time.

According to the district police, the physical and papers of the candidates were scrutinized on March 8 at the Noakhali District Police Lines field. Later, a written test was held for a total of 856 candidates who passed the physical endurance test. Among them, 795 were male and 61 were female. On Thursday morning, April 4, the names of 153 candidates who passed the written examination were announced according to merit and psychological and oral examinations were held. Later, at 9 pm, SP Mohammad Asaduzzaman, president of the recruitment board, announced the names of 78 candidates who were finally successful according to merit from 153 candidates who participated in psychological and oral examinations.

Among them, 66 are male candidates, 12 female candidates, 13 are in waiting.

SP Mohammad Asaduzzaman said that the TRC recruitment test was completed in a transparent, neutral and corruption-free manner. Only those candidates who are physically qualified, meritorious and honest in each examination have been nominated as recruitable on the basis of their qualifications.
