A dhai fish of Padma was sold for Tk 15,000 in Goland of Rajbari. The weight of the fish is five kg. It was caught in the net of fisherman Anis Haldar in the estuary of Padma-Jamuna river near Daulatdia Ferry Ghat yesterday morning. After bringing the fish to Roshan Mats located next to Daulatdia bypass road in the morning for sale, the fish merchant Shahjahan Sheikh Sarat bought it at the rate of Tk 3 thousand per kg for a total of Tk 15 thousand in open auction. After that, he contacted a businessman in Dhaka and sold it at a rate of Tk 3000 per kg for a total of Tk 15 thousand 500.
