Narcotics Control Directorate seized a covered van with 26,800 cans of foreign beer in Patuakhali. The estimated value of which is about Tk 2 crore 15 lakh.
A team led by Md Kabirul Hasan, Inspector of Narcotics Control Directorate, Patuakhali Kalapara, arrested a cover van from Payra port area on its way to Dhaka from Kalapara at four o'clock in the night at Patuakhali toll plaza. Three people including the driver and the interpreter were arrested.
The arrested are Md Bashirul Islam (interpreter) (28), Rubel Munshi (27), Md Mehdi Hasan (23) after which the accused and the seized covered van with seized beer were taken to Kalapara Narcotics Control Office.
