Within 24 hours of the murder of madrasa student Hasibul Biswas in Rajbari's Pangsha, the police arrested the killer and recovered the stolen autovan. Hasibul Biswas (13) is a class-6 student at Samaspur Dakhil Madrasa, Jashai Union, Pangsha Police Station. Sometimes he drives his father's battery operated auto van.
It is known that on Tuesday afternoon, Hasibul Biswas left home with his father's battery operated autovan. His parents were worried when he did not return home with the van after evening. The next day, the police recovered the body of an unidentified teenager in the grass field of Tamili Durgapur village of Babupara union of Pangsha police station. His father identified the body as that of Hasibul Biswas. When a case was filed in the Pangsha Model Police Station, the police arrested Md. Tarek (20), son of Md. A. Khalek Pramanik of Jaigram of Pangsha Upazila. While interrogating the arrested, he strangulated Hasibul Biswas's autovan on the spot on the afternoon of June 6 and left with the autovan. The autovan was recovered from Kumarkhali Police Station's Hall Bazar area by conducting raids based on the information given by the accused during interrogation.
