Three wheeler driver Atiqullah Babu (26) died in a collision between a passenger bus and a three wheeler in Tetulia of Panchagarh.
The accident took place on Tetulia-Panchgarh highway in Bowalmari area of Shalbahan Union of upazila yesterday morning.
It is known that the deceased Atiqullah Babu is the son of Muslim Uddin of Sardarpara area of Boda municipality of Panchagarh district. According to police and locals, Atiqullah was driving a three-wheeler (crazy) in the morning to deliver the goods to the bakery. Meanwhile, while passing a tractor on the road in Boalmari area of Tetulia, Atiq lost control and collided with a passenger bus going in the opposite direction and was seriously injured. Later, the locals quickly rescued him while injured and took him to Tetulia Upazila Health Complex, where the duty doctor declared him dead.
Sub-Inspector of Tetulia Highway Police Station Shamsul Haque confirmed the death of the driver of the three-wheeler.
