The Election Commission (EC) postponed the Sarishabari Upazila Parishad elections of Jamalpur on yesterday, the day before the sixth phase of upazila elections.Jamalpur District Election Officer and Returning Officer Mohammad Shaniazzaman Talukdar confirmed the matter at Sarishabari Upazila Election Officer's office at around 5 pm yesterday.In this regard, Jamalpur District Election Officer and Returning Officer Mohammad Shaniazzaman Talukder said that the polling for the Sarishabari Upazila Parishad election scheduled for today has been postponed as per the instructions of the Election Commission. In this regard, the authorities will inform the next steps to be taken.
