Tk1 profit market

"Ek taka laver bazaar"( Tk1 profit market) has been launched in Meherpur with the motto "not pleasure, let the month of Ramadan be enlivened by the glory of sacrifice". This market was officially inaugurated in Subidpur village of Meherpur Sadar upazila on yesterday. Meherpur District Consumer Directorate Assistant Director Md. Sajal Ahmed and Meherpur District Agricultural Marketing Officer Abdur Razzak were present there at that time. At that time, the director members of the organization Rajib Ali, Suruj Ali, Abdullah Khan, Makibur Rahman, Huchain Mia, Ghalib Khan, Arif Khan, Saqlain Khan, Rubel, Sumun etc. were present there. In the inauguration ceremony, Sajal Ahmed said that this market is a great initiative of the youth society of Subidpur village. They stand by the helpless and low-income people. They are handing over 11 products to the people at a profit of one taka, where people are struggling to buy daily goods due to the increase in the price of goods across the country.

We applaud their great initiative. Among the products sold at a profit of one taka are - Muri Tk 42, Salt Tk 38, Masoori Dal Tk 106, Potato Tk 30, chickpea Tk 102, Soybean Oil Tk 160 per litre, Semai Tk 40, Sugar Tk 135, Dates Tk 190 as per public demand. The product is also likely to increase in the coming days. Asma Begum, who came to buy products at a profit of one taka, said, first of all, we can buy easily. The price is also low. Along with that, the boys of that organization will not take the money that will be gained from the sale of products but will distribute the Eid materials for free among the poor and needy people of the area. This is a very good initiative. Director of the organization Md. Rahiduzzaman said we are giving Tk1 to the needy people with 11 products. We have four more stalls - in other areas. We are thinking of doing it on a bigger scale in the future. Tk1 profit market will be open from 9 AM to 4 PM and after Iftar to 9 PM. This market will continue until the day before Eid. Qutubpur UP Chairman Salim Reza said Subidpur youth community has started selling products at a profit of Tk1 profit market - I have come to know that. Such an initiative is certainly good.
