A group of students seized a private car with 240 bottles of Indian liquor at Durgapur in Netrokona. On information, police and army personnel rushed to the spot.
The incident took place on Hospital Road in Sadhupara area of the municipality around 8:30 pm on Monday.
Md Saiful Islam, officer-in-charge of Durgapur Police Station, said the seized liquor and the private car were taken into police custody. The owner and driver of the seized vehicle will be traced. A drug case will also be registered.
