Bangladesh‍‍`s relations with China are secure

Terming Bangladesh‍‍`s relations with China as ‍‍`safe‍‍`, Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the relations between the two countries are getting stronger day by day based on mutual trust, cooperation and friendship.

He said these things at a program titled ‍‍`Long Live Bangladesh-China Friendship‍‍` organized at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Association Seminar Center on Saturday (July 18).

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that even when the fascist government was persecuting, the BNP had relations with the Communist Party of China. Bangladesh has long-standing relations with China at the state and private levels.

He also said that through Prime Minister Tarique Rahman‍‍`s visit to China, the historical friendship, strategic partnership and multi-dimensional cooperation between Bangladesh and China will be further consolidated.

Speaking as a special guest at the program, Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen said that the relations between Bangladesh and China are a shining example of mutual trust, respect, development cooperation and long-standing friendship. The cooperation between the two countries in various fields including infrastructure development, trade, investment, technology, education, health, agriculture and cultural exchange will expand further in the future.

At the time, Information Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan said at the ‍‍`Long Live Bangladesh-China Friendship‍‍` program that Bangladesh expects China‍‍`s cooperation in resolving the Rohingya refugee crisis.

State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism MA Rashiduzzaman Millat, Sanjida Islam Tuli, Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas and Bangladesh-China Friendship Association President and BNP Chairperson‍‍`s advisor Advocate Nazmul Haque Nannu were also present at the program.
