Upazila Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) office assistant Mahfuzur Rahman (29) was killed in a motorcycle accident in Sunamganj's Doarabazar. He was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in front of Kibria Community Center on his way back from Chatak after withdrawing his salary from Janata Bank from the Upazila Engineer's office yesterday afternoon.
Later that afternoon, he died while undergoing treatment at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital. His death in a motorcycle accident has cast a shadow of grief among his family and colleagues at the Upazila Engineer's office.
He joined Doarabazar Upazila Engineer Office in 2021 as Working Assistant Pond and Canal Development Project (IPCP). Mahfuzur Rahman is the son of Majed Ali of Dilalpur village of Lalpur upazila of Natore district. Upazila administration and Doarabazar Upazila Press Club leaders expressed deep grief and condolence on his death.
