Neeldumur Battalion (17 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 5 bottles of Indian drug LSD and 50 bottles of Indian Phensedyl worth Tk 5 crore 20 lakh 20 thousand from Debhata border area of Satkhira district. It is to be noted that the person carrying the drugs ran away inside the village after sensing the presence of the BGB patrol team.
The process of submitting the seized drugs to the Narcotics Control Office is underway. Captain, Neeldumur Battalion (17 BGB) assured that the BGB is strictly following the 'Zero Tolerance Policy' to curb drug smuggling and illegal infiltration across the border and this will continue in the future.
