Disabled Tajul Islam held a press conference demanding justice for the attack and torture of opponent Asad Pramanik Gang on the disabled Tajul Islam of Paschim Khajapur village of Eluari UP of Fulbari Upazila of Dinajpur. Narrating the incident, disabled Tajul Islam said in the press conference that the opponents threatened to kill me and attack my house. I want to shelter the law enforcement agencies and the administration for the safety of our lives. In a press conference yesterday, disabled Tajul Islam said, I am physically disabled. He said, that on 01/03/2015, in discussion with Khajapur Ekramiya Fazil Madrasah authorities, we fixed the price of 25 percent land at Tk2 lakh 20 thousand. I pay Tk1 lakh 20 thousand as a deposit. I have been cultivating the said land since 2015. It is currently in my possession. The madrasah authorities assured me that they would give me the land registry after receiving the remaining amount within 3 months. But after 3 months passed, when I repeatedly urged them to give the land registry, they started arguing. Later they asked me for money. When I refused to pay, Asad Pramanik got furious and kicked my wheelchair. At that time, when I fell on the ground with the wheelchair, the person started punching and kicking me. At one point, when I screamed, my family members and local people rescued me and brought me to Phulbari Upazila Health Complex for treatment. Later I filed a complaint in Phulbari police station.
