A housewife named Madhumala (40) died after falling from her husband's motorcycle in Munshiganj of Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga. He died while undergoing treatment at Chuadanga Sadar Hospital around 1.30 pm yesterday.
Before this, the accident took place at Sonatanpur road in Munshiganj, Alamdanga around 7:30 am. Madhumala wife of Babul Mia of Katabhanga village in Baradi union of Alamdanga who died in the accident. Police and eyewitnesses said that in the morning, Babul Mia went to overtake a truck on his way to the motorcycle with his wife Madhumala. On the way, his wife fell from her husband's motorcycle after being tied to the back of the truck. At that time, Madhumala was seriously injured by the truck. With the help of locals, she was rescued and admitted to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital, and the doctor referred her to Rajshahi Medical College (RAMEC) Hospital for better treatment. Later, the housewife died while undergoing treatment around 1:30 p.m. Chuadanga Sadar Police Station Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Jannat Ujjal confirmed this information.
