Awami League joint general secretary and information minister Hasan Mahmud said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has become a world leader from a student leader. All the achievements in fate of Bangladesh have been achieved in the last few decades under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.
He said this while inaugurating the documentary film ‘Shaikh Hasina Democracy and Development’ and the Prime Minister`s timeline ‘Sheikh Hasina Protidin (Sheikh Hasina Daily)’ aired on Bangladesh Television at the Film Archive Auditorium in the capital`s Agargaon on Wednesday (September 28) noon.
Director General of Bangladesh Television Sohrab Hossain spoke as a special guest at the event, Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Md Mokbul Hossain. Director General of Films and Publications Department SM Golam Kibria and Ekattor TV Chairman Mozammel Haque spoke.
Dr. Hasan said, “Today is the 76th birthday of Bangabandhu`s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. On this occasion, the documentary `Sheikh Hasina Shaping Democracy and Development` produced by the Directorate of Films and Publications will be broadcast across the country through the Directorate of Mass Communication and will also be shown on various television channels. They will promote as per their convenience. Besides, Bangladesh Television will air the `Sheikh Hasina Protidin` timeline to inform people about the Prime Minister`s biography, other televisions in the country will also air it”.
Minister Hasan said, in fact, people`s leader Sheikh Hasina has transformed from a student leader to a world leader. I have seen the photograph of Sheikh Hasina leading a procession on February 15, 1970 in the collection of the director general of the Directorate of Films and Publications. People`s leader Sheikh Hasina was not only the VP of Eden College, but she was also a member of the Central Committee of the Chhatra League. Today she has transformed from a student leader to a world leader.
The information minister said that leader Sheikh Hasina is a symbol of Bangladesh`s democracy, a symbol of the spirit of the liberation war, a symbol of the country`s development and progress, a symbol of Bengali culture. She is the true image of a Bengali woman, who shows what a Bengali woman is like. If you talk to someone you will know what a Bengali mother is like, if you talk to someone you will know what a Bengali daughter and bride is like.
He said that people`s leader Sheikh Hasina has been in struggle since childhood. Her father was not there during her birth, her father was not there during her marriage, her father was in prison when her first child was born, she was interned during the liberation war. Her first child Sajib Wazed Joy, the Prime Minister`s ICT advisor, was born in that environment. That is, she did not get his father in all the important moments of his life. Therefore, Sheikh Hasina has grown up through struggle since childhood.
Where it is difficult to accept a child if one`s father dies even at a mature age, there the people`s leader Sheikh Hasina suddenly lost her mother, father, brothers and sisters, relatives and relatives and took all the people of Bangladesh as her own. Hasan said, after repeatedly coming back from the valley of death, she has led the caravan of the struggle for the rights of the people of Bangladesh in a more brilliant way, which is possible only for a Sheikh Hasina. I think it is not easy to give such leadership after so many accidents in the world context.
