Bangabandhu Football Gold Cup Tournament-2024 was inaugurated by Chairman of Kendua Upazila Parishad Md Mofazzal Hossain Bhuya in Kendua of Netrakona.
The opening game of Bangabandhu Gold Cup football tournament between Sandikona Union Parishad XI vs Ashuzia Union Parishad XI was held at Sandikona School and College ground in Sandikona Union under the initiative of Kendua Upazila Administration yesterday morning.
In that match, Sandikona Union Parishad XI defeated Ashujia Union Parishad XI by 5-0 goals. The tournament was held under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Imdadul Haque Talukder under the direction of Ashraf Uddin Bhuiyan, Vice President of Kendua Sports Association.
Kendua Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Selina Begum Sumi, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Jannat, Kendua Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Enamul Haque (PPM), Sandikona UP Chairman Freedom Fighter Md Azizul Islam, Maska UP Chairman Abdus Salam Bangali, Garadoba UP Chairman Kamruzzaman Khan Sohag, Gonda UP Chairman Md Shahidul Islam Akand Kalyan, Royalbari UP Chairman Md Lutfar Rahman Bhuiyan, Upazila Freedom Fighter Command Former Commander Freedom Fighter Md Bajlur Rahman, Kendua Upazila Press Club President Samrendra Vishwasharma, Upazila Sports Association General Secretary Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan and many others were present.
