The navy conducted an operation in Charking Union of Hatia Upazila of Noakhali and arrested a yaba businessman named Md Khokon Mia.
The arrested Yaba businessman Md Khokon Mia (42) is the son of Md Taher of Ward No 8 of Charking Union. He was arrested along with yaba tools and cash.
Yesterday, based on secret information, a Navy team conducted a special operation in Ward No 8 of Charking Union of Upazila. At that time, the navy stationed at Hatiya arrested him with 85 pitches of yaba, yaba consumption equipment, cash of Tk 23 thousand 379 taka, 03 smart phones, 01 button set, 02 SIM cards and a knife.
Hatia Naval Contingent media reported that Khokon Mia, who was arrested along with Yaba, has been consuming and selling Yaba in the area for a long time. We were able to arrest him by conducting a raid after receiving tip-off. Later he was handed over to Hatia police station. Mustafizur Rahman, Agriculture Marketing Office Officer Mr Md Sahidul Islam, Mushfiqur Rahim and Md Fahim Uddin Movin, leaders of the market committee and a team of Chuadanga District Police were present along with student representatives in the campaign.
