Fire at cosmetics godown of Square

A terrible fire has occurred in a cosmetics godown of Square in Laskarpur of Pabna Sadar Upazila. Seven fire service units worked to bring the fire under control. The incident of fire occurred in the cosmetics godown of Khan Para Square in Laskarpur yesterday afternoon.

Superintendent of Police Akbar Ali Munshi said that in Santhia- all seven units together worked to control the fire. It is not clear how the fire started. Fire service personnel brought the fire under control around 2.00 pm after two and a half hours of effort. The extent of the damage was not immediately known.the fire is believed to have started from an electrical short circuit.
