A tense situation is prevailing in Mirpur of Bahubal upazila. This atmosphere of panic has been created due to the attack on the devotees at Siratunnabi Mahfil and the irregularities and corruption of Mirpur Dakhil Madrasa Super. This has created anxiety among the people of Mirpur area.
According to the announcement, Seeratunnabi Mahfil was held at Jamia Hussainia ground on Friday under the banner of Islami Sangram Parishad and Khadimul Quran Parishad's Mirpur Union Branch. Two devotees named Abdur Rahim (75) and Hafez Sharif Uddin (20) were seriously injured in the brick attack just before Esha prayers.
However, the situation was brought under control with the intervention of police and Ulema-e-Karam. Still, tensions remain. However, Maulana Abdul Hye claimed that the situation is normal. But there is a lot of writing on social media about this incident.
On the other hand, Mirpur Dakhil Madrasah Super Hafez Maulana Alauddin has been negotiating with the managing committee for not giving any account for a long time. Chairman of the managing committee Ehsan Ahmed Chowdhury said that it has been decided to submit the super sub account to the audit committee on May 1.
The managing committee of the madrasah alleged that Super Hafez Maulana Alauddin is trying to make the situation murky with hired people to foil the audit scheduled for May 1. The intervention of the administration is necessary in this regard.
